The Kalanchoe Thyrsiflora has many nicknames, the most common ones are: 'Flapjacks', 'Paddle Plant', 'Desert Cabbage' and 'Dog Tongue'. When this plant reaches maturity after 2-3 years it will produce thick clusters of perfumed flowers.
The 'Oricula' variety has a similar colour scheme to the flatter 'Paddle Plant' we are used to, but the shape of it's leaves actually remind us more of Crassula 'Ogre Ears' (we are getting rainbow Shrek vibes, anyone else?!).
As with most succulent plants you can easily propagate them using individual leaves placed on top of compost.

Care:
Light: Bright indirect light will promote the best growth. Older plants can withstand direct sunlight.
Water: Only water once the soil is completely dry then give a heavy water.
Food: Not a requirement but if you choose to; use a light cacti fertiliser.
Humidity: Will thrive in a normal home humidity but will also tolerate dry air.
