I am having a clear out of the plants from my home grown section which are ‘less than best’ or otherwise not in the quality condition I would be happy to list just yet (but I desperately need the space!).
These plants will have flaws, need some TLC or are only suitable for a propagation project. If you want to get a bit of practice in with plant propagation/rehabbing and grab a bargain to help grow your collection then these bundles are for you.
We would really like to emphasise that these are project plants with various imperfections, we have tried to make this as clear as possible in the photos. We do not accept refunds on these bargain bundles.
Bundle contains 8 plants, at £30 it works out at around £3.75 per plant:
Mamei or Plowmanii - Can't tell at this stage, rooted in moss in a 5.5cm diameter nursery pot. Lower leaves were damaged and removed. Probably best to prop and restart when this leaf hardens off.
Golden Violin, rooted in moss in a 5.5cm diameter nursery pot. Lots of cosmetic damage to lower leaves. Would make several propagations (will size up with a pole/support).
Jerry Horne, rooted in moss in an 8cm diameter nursery pot. Has some yellowing (probably wants lower light). A bit lanky, would appreciate a pole for support.
Camposportoanum, many rooted cuttings in soil in a 12cm diameter pot - has grown unruly. Huge propagation potential.
Melanochrysum, rooted in soil in a 6cm diameter pot, this guy is struggling and may have some root issues. I would chop, prop and root in moss in a high humid environment.
Paraiso Verde, rooted in soil in a 12cm diameter pot. Has yellowing and cosmetic damage. Not showing any variegation currently, try encouraging with warmth and light as well as regular watering and fertilisation.
Philodendron Burle Marx. Rooted in moss (desperately needs a repot) central stem is fully revertad, has one little offshooot still showing variegation.
Painted Lady, rooted in soil in an approx 10.5 cm diameter pot. Mother leaf has been cut in half - new growth seems to be doing well.
