A really good place to start with a project plant which will be rewarding in no time. One leaf has some cosmetic damage to its top from being pressed up against the propagation box wall, moving to soil and giving something to climb and this plant will size up quickly.
A different take on the classic Heart Leaf Philodendron. The Philodendron Pittieri is an uncommon plant with lovely, large pillowy leaves which have a subtle sheen to them.

Care:
Light: Tolerant of medium light to bright indirect light, however too much light can cause brown, crispy tips on the leaves.
Water:
his plant likes to be moist but doesn’t want its roots to be constantly wet. Water when the top 2/3 of the soil dries out. For best results water from underneath with the use of a saucer to reduce the chance of root rot. Reduce watering during winter months and let dry out more completely.
Food: Feed monthly during the growing season but not during winter unless actively growing.
Humidity: High humidity will produce a happier plant but will tolerate a normal household humidity. A low humidity will cause brown, crispy tips on the leaves.
