Exact plant photographed - original wet stick was taken from my large mother plant. Rooting in spaghnum moss, would really appreciate a repot soon as it is literally bursting out of the plastic container (water carefully because of leaks!)
Does have some light bleaching as it has been on a windowsill but would rather be a bit further back to encourage a deeper green.
Will develop red emerging leaves with maturities. Last photograph is of my mother plant taken last year.
A really strong and fast growing specimen.
Care:
Light: Tolerant of medium light to bright indirect light, however too much light can cause brown, crispy tips on the leaves.
Water: Water when the top 2 thirds of the soil dry out. For best results water from underneath with the use of a saucer to reduce the chance of root rot. Reduce watering during winter months. In winter allow to dry out further.
Food: Feed fortnightly during the growing season but not during winter.
Humidity: High humidity will produce a happier plant but will tolerate a normal household humidity. A low humidity will cause brown, crispy tips on the leaves.
